Our Mission

The mission of DiversityAbroad.com is to increase minority student’s involvement in study abroad programs. By educating students and promoting the benefits of study abroad and other education abroad programs, DiversityAbroad.com increases student’s awareness and interest in pursuing such programs.

Our History

DiversityAbroad.com was started in 2005 with the vision of a former study abroad student, Andrew Gordon. The vision was simple; to boost the number of minority students studying abroad by increasing awareness about study abroad opportunities and the benefits of pursing these programs.

With the assistant of other former students who were passionate about the vision, Andrew developed the comprehensive study abroad resource center Diversitybroad.com with the purpose of advising minority students and making of them aware of the various programs available.

DiversityAbroad.com is the first study abroad resource center dedicated to increasing the number of minority students that participate in education abroad programs.
