Spend 3 weeks on site at Shakespeare’s Globe Theater, the very spot where Shakespeare himself worked. You will work intensively with actors, directors and other theater practitioners as you study literature and theater in the prestigious Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, surrounded by places of extraordinary historical and cultural interest. You will experience London with a wide range of social and cultural activities including day trips to Oxford, Stratford Upon Avon or Cambridge, a trip on the London eye, a guided city tour of London and more. The University of Hyderabad, one of India’s premier institutions of post graduate teaching and research, was established by an act of parliament in 1974 as a Central University, wholly financed by the University Grants Commission. The University’s scenic and serene campus spreads over 2,300 acres, 12 miles from the city of Hyderabad. Amid the scenic environment of the campus, several buildings catering to the academic needs, support facilities and residential requirements of the campus community have been constructed over the years. Since 1998, the University has offered foreign students a special program – the Study in India Program (SIP). This is an interdisciplinary program emphasizing heritage, continuity and change in India.
Earn credits through a wide variety of courses when you study in beautiful, historic Florence. You’ll have the option to live in a homestay or in a student apartment as you experience many social and cultural activities, such as trips to local art galleries, an Italian cooking class, and visits to the local museums. Enjoy trips to Rome, Siena and Venice, immersing yourself in the Italian culture. Volunteer and internship opportunities are also available. AIFS in Florence includes a one-week orientation before the semester begins so students can acclimate themselves to Italian language and culture. Fall semester students attend orientation in the beach-side town of Pietrasanta, while spring semester students attend orientation in Rome. A for-credit International Internship Program (IIP) is also available, as well as a Fashion Management and Marketing Program (spring only). Volunteer opportunities are available and interested students can enhance their volunteer work with a for-credit Service Learning and Active Citizenship course.
