API High School Discover Britain at Harlaxton College in Grantham, England

Join API for an unforgettable once-in-a-lifetime experience this summer, living and learning in an English country manor house in true Hogwarts style! You will live and eat the majority of your meals, including a welcome banquet in the manor house, and your classes will be held in the staterooms. Orientation will be held in London where we will spend 3 days seeing the major sites. There will be plenty of field trips in the afternoons to local castles, manor houses, and villages. Students are offered a variety of opportunities to socialize and stay active through playing sports you are familiar with, as well as learning new ones (cricket, rugby, or handball). We are looking forward to welcoming you on this amazing program.

API Teach in Colombia

API is working together with Colombia’s Ministry of Education (MEN) and a Colombian public institution, National Service of Learning (SENA), to provide conversational English training in job training centers and schools. English training is an important step to help locals succeed in school, find better jobs, and improve communication in the global market. Placements are available to teach conversational English in one of two ways: co-teach with a local Colombian teacher in 9-11th grade public school classrooms or at adult vocational training centers. Participants are required to teach 20-25 classroom hours and put in an additional 15-20 hours of classroom prep, grading, office hours, and staff meetings per week.
