Spanish Language and Culture Immersion Program (no college credit) The Spanish Language and Culture Immersion program provides 14- and 15-year-old students with the opportunity to practice their Spanish in Spain. Learning takes place both inside and outside of the classroom, in a fun and engaging way. No college credits are awarded for participation in this program, although students will receive a certificate of completion from the language institute. Classes are held in the mornings while the afternoons are filled with cultural visits and recreational activities, such as swimming, kayaking and tennis. Spanish Language & Culture at the University of Salamanca (college credit available) This Spanish Language and Culture immersion program is taught at the collegiate level, and provides students the opportunity to study at the renowned University of Salamanca. Founded in 1218, it is the oldest university in Spain. Students will earn college credits upon successful completion of their studies. 2.5 or 5 U.S. college credits can be earned depending on the length of the program. Students will live with local host families, allowing for more time to practice their Spanish outside of the classroom. Most classes will be held in the mornings, allowing for participation in API cultural and recreational activities in the afternoons.

Students in this program select a combination of French language and cultural electives, and have the option of taking cultural electives in English.
