DESCRIPTION

With help from Arcadia, you will be set up with an incomparable study abroad experience at the Fundación Ortega-Marañón - Toledo. It is a degree-granting institution that focuses on strengthening knowledge of Spanish language, history and culture through a wide range of course offerings in language, anthropology, art history, literature, history, politics, and economics. Six credits must be in Spanish language at a level that matches your proficiency. Courses are taught exclusively in Spanish by Spanish professors, so 4 semesters (or the equivalent) of college-level Spanish are required to enroll. But, there's no reason to be intimidated! The courses were designed with the specific needs of the non-native Spanish speaker in mind. A summer option is also available, as is Direct Enroll at the Universidad Castilla La Mancha. Service-learning and a limited number of internship opportunities are also available; past internships have been secured in such places as governmental and communications agencies and healthcare establishments
