DESCRIPTION

The program combines coursework with a three day a week unpaid internship, as well as an eight day trip to an aboriginal community in Northwest Australia. Your courses will be with other program participants, providing a learning community framework and an American perspective on your experience. Students on the Sydney Internship Program work in a broad range of areas. Instead of trying to fit you into a pre-existing internship placement, our experienced staff looks at your academic and professional background as well as your own learning objectives to find the right placement. In the past, we have had interns in fields including marketing, finance, politics, social welfare, public policy, journalism, communications, humanities, and visual, fine and graphic arts. Arcadia University opens the doors to new experiences, different academic learning, people, cultures and perspectives so you can build your own lifelong learning and memories: Explore a new world – excursions, activities, events, … Get to know yourself - then change! Gain a new view of the world and your place in it. Rely on us for support: 9 centers covering 12 countries worldwide Boost your résumé – employers AND graduate schools.
