Credits Students can earn 1215 semester credits per semester or 6 semester credits per summer session.
Academic Focus Spanish, Peruvian culture, literature, biodiversity, art, and art history.
Curriculum Summer students will take 2 courses, while semester students choose either 4 or 5 courses. An official transcript is issued by the Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola, a fully accredited university in Peru.
Housing Students can choose to live with a host family, which includes 3 meals per day or in a residence hall where no meals are included.

Start your adventure on the Inca Trail where you will be surrounded by a unique mixture of scenery including lush forests, subtropical jungles, and majestic mountains all while walking along ancient paths and ruins. Considered one of the best hiking trails in the world, this trail will lead you to the famous Lost City of Machu Picchu nestled high in the Andes Mountains.
Another archeological marvel is the Sacred Valley of the Incas which is located nearly 2000 ft below the level of Cuzco. This enchanted valley winds along both the Urubamba river and the Vilcanota river and is home to spectacular ruins and some of the most beautiful towns in Peru including Pisaq, Ollantaytambo, Chincheros and Maras where you can enjoy the sacred agricultural land, buy handmade goods, or further fuel your adventurous side by kayaking, hang gliding, climbing, or horse back riding.
The city of Cuzco is full of life day and night. By day enjoy the charming streets surrounded by stone arches constructed by the Spaniards or seek out ancient treasures hidden within the colonial mansions and churches such as the Cathedral of Santo Domingo. At nightfall the city of Cuzco is beautifully lit up and alive with energy, music and culture.
