CIEE January Irish Studies Program in Dublin, Ireland

In the city Shaw, Swift, Joyce, Lewis and Yeats called home, write your own story of international discovery during CIEE’s January Irish Studies program. Through challenging coursework on a high-tech campus, fun cultural activities around the city, and excursions to beautiful locations, you’ll get an in-depth look at Irish culture, learn how the city developed after being founded by Vikings, and perhaps pick up a few Dublinese phrases along the way. Study in Dublin and you will: -Gain an in-depth look at Irish culture through coursework and cultural excursions -Live at Dublin City University, with its compact high-tech campus, close proximity to the center of Dublin -Join CIEE and partake in cultural activities, such as visits to museums, cathedrals, galleries, and historic sites; day trips to Dublin Castle, Kilmainham Jail, and a field trip to western Ireland

Imagine working with leading architecture and design experts and innovators to complete a real-world design project. Study with the latest thinkers and practitioners to gain an understanding of architecture and design within an emerging global context. Pursue hands-on design work in a state-of-the-art studio using the latest technology to address an aspect of the current global environmental crisis. And observe 2,000 years of architectural history up close at historical and current architectural sites throughout Spain – all with CIEE.
