Spend your summer exploring two of Europe’s most exciting cities: Paris and Prague. The CIEE Paris+Prague Summer Multi-Site program offers you an opportunity to explore French and Czech art and architecture, developing an appreciation of the various periods and styles that have helped shape urban development throughout Europe. With coursework and cultural activities that allow you to explore Paris and Prague from a variety of perspectives, you will be able to compare and contrast French and Czech styles while immersing yourself in two rich cultures. In Paris and Prague you will: - Use two of Europe’s most beautiful, dynamic cities as your classroom - Study Art and Architecture from different historical, political, and cultural perspectives and learn firsthand about art and architecture in these two dynamic locations through frequent field trips and class excursions - Explore French and Czech society through CIEE overnight study tours and cultural activities

You’ll get an insider view of what it’s like to do business here through classes and meetings with professional and cultural organizations. Immerse yourself in the richness and complexity of West African politics in two of the region’s most politically active countries. First, see how activism and governance are defined and demonstrated in Ghana, the first African country to achieve independence. Then, gain a deeper understanding of the components of a stable democracy – from history to influences of religion and politics – in Senegal. Along the way, you’ll compare and contrast the successes and challenges of both political landscapes.
