Paid and Unpaid Internships in Brazil

PAID INTERNSHIPS A paid work experience or internship can be a great way can be a great way to earn some extra money while polishing up the personal Curriculum Vitae at a Brazilian company or institution. Normally Brazilian companies pay around R$ 538,00 (minimum wage) with which the student can cover his / her daily expenses. Nevertheless, this varies from company to company as some organisations for instance pay meals and transport instead. All in all it should not be expected to save a lot of money when participating in a paid work experience / internship program. Furthermore, visa application processes are much more complex as it involves the permission of the Brazilian Ministry of Employment. UNPAID INTERNSHIPS An unpaid work experience or internship is an ideal opportunity to get first-hand experience within a Brazilian company or institution, especially if the intended duration of the course is for a relatively short period of time (4-12 weeks). All our students are placed in well-established companies and organisations in the area of Balneário Camboriú and Itajaí. Students interested in a work + study program can either choose between paid or unpaid placements (20h per week). In addition, the Ideall Travel Group will accompany each individual student through the program in order to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. General Portuguese

General Portuguese classes cover all aspects of the Portuguese language, including grammar, vocabulary, writing, listening, speaking and reading. As it is our goal to make classes as exciting and diverse as possible, the professor will occasionally give real-life tasks where students from small groups and are asked to engage in an every-day situations. This could be in the form of a telephone call, a visit of a hotel where students have to ask for room prices, a flight booking at a travel agency and so on. Classes consist out of a maximum of 7 students // Each class has a duration of 50 minutes // General Portuguese can be done as a standard program (15h per week) // intensive program (20h per week) // or super intensive program (30h per week)
