Study business in the heart of Santiago, one of Latin Americas most important commercial centers.
Three outstanding program courses that focus on international business and sustainable development.
Located at the renowned School of Business and Economics at the Universidad de Chile, the first business school in Chile.
Field components give dynamic, practical experiences in the Latin American business world.
Local business leaders will conduct weekly workshops and speak on issues related to international business.
Curriculum includes three courses, Culture and Management and Business in Spanish, Doing Business in South America, Sustainable Development in Southern Cone.
All courses are taught in Spanish by Universidad de Chile faculty.
Each course is worth 3 U.S. semester credit hours for a total of 9 U.S. semester credit hours.
Each student is paired with a Chilean student who serves as a mentor and language exchange partner.

The program includes six thematically integrated site visits that will enhance classroom learning.
Visit to Chiles Central Bank, Day trip to Valparaiso for a meeting with the citys Economic Development Commission to learn about the citys current economic development plan. Visit the Port of Valparaiso and the National Congress. Visit one of Chiles famous vineyards to gain an understanding of the global factors that affect the Chilean wine industry. Day trip to El Teniente worlds largest copper mine to learn about the copper industry and efforts in Corporate Social Responsibility. Visit a small business to gain an understanding of small business environment. 3 day visit to La Serena and surrounding cities to experience small and medium business environment. Students will experience cooperatives, women owned businesss and examples of sustainable development such as solarpowered businesses.
