The program is accredited by Endicott College, Beverly Massachusetts, a small liberal arts college which enrolls more than 2,400 students a year. CIS prepares students for an American education and allows them to try our different subjects before choosing their degree (major/minor). The primary language of instruction is English with select courses taught in Spanish. The average class size is 15 students which allows our faculty to spend more personalized time with our students. Students are required to preform an internship at one of the national or international companies from our vast network during one semester. This gives them the opportunity to acquire experience and start building their professional career.
The American MBA program at CIS has a duration of approximately 16 months and is accredited by Endicott College. The program includes part time (afternoon-evening) classes and full time internships with national and international companies from our vast network in Madrid. Classes have a maximum of 12 students and are based on practical assessments including group work, projects, presentations, simulations and participation.
At CIS, full degree-seeking students are required to complete internships which has led us to develop a vast network of more than 100 prestigious national and multinational businesses and corporations. The internship program takes advantage of our already well developed relations with companies, allowing students to enhance their CV through valuable international work experience. They also gain confidence working in a different language and cultural environment and increases their integration into Spanish society. Students will receive credits for the internship depending on the hours performed and also have the opportunity to take a Spanish class and/or the “Introduction to Spain” course for credit.
