Australian Education International (AEI) is the international education arm of the Australian Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR). We have 26 overseas offices in 18 countries. In North America and around the world, AEI helps people and institutions create long-term personal, cultural and intellectual relationships.

 In North America, our office is located in the Embassy of Australia in Washington, DC.  We work to promote a greater understanding of Australian education. In particular, we make sure the world knows about the quality and diversity of Australian education. Our goal is to increase academic mobility between Australia and North America - including study, research and teaching exchange.

AEI North America is able to provide a range of information on the Australian education system, and we also help US and Canadian students who are interested in learning more about opportunities to study in Australia.
