I believe in that statement. If you are healthy then you'll be well enough to succeed in life and strive for your goals. I actually think health is twice as important because if you had all the money in the world but weren't healthy that money wouldn't really matter (except getting the best treatment to live longer.)
In the sense of studying abroad, staying healthy is a must for you are in a foreign environment when family is far away. It wouldn't be a very good experience if you are sick most of the time.
Get plenty of sleep, eat healthy, and exercise! Taking a daily multivitamin doesn't hurt either. What good is wealth when you can't enjoy it. :)
I can't help but agree with the others. Health is definitely wealth. Being in great health not only makes you feel better physically, but also mentally and emotionally. If you're sick and have to stay in while all of your friends are out having fun in your study abroad location, then of course you're going to be frustrated that you missed out. Time is our most precious commodity, and being sick robs you of the full study abroad experience. So don't let your health slip. That kind of unneeded stress, especially because it can be easily prevented, should be avoided. Invest the time and effort to stay healthy knowing that the rewards are unforgettable memories and experiences that are once-in-a-lifetime.
Considering the state of today's economy, curbing spending and saving money is vital- especially when traveling abroad. I feel like one of the worst case scenarios that could ever occur while you're abroad is that you're left broke with no money at all.
I'm saving up as much as I could so I could enjoy my time overseas. Money provides security, whether it allows you to spend a couple of bucks on groceries to paying for a cab late at night.
I suggest finding a job overseas to have a consistent resource of revenue.
staying healthy in another country can be hard. my friend stephen went abroad last semester and got so sick his mom had to fly to italy to literally save his life. He couldn't find an American doctor.
Scary right?
I'll be sure to eat right, keep exercising, and stay on my normal routine when I get to spain. I'd hate to ruin my trip by getting ill!!!
I just realized that my first post was a response that was not at all related to what you were suggesting...
But I stand by my agreement argument: Yes!
Do you really want the reason why your family and friends are visiting you in a different country to be because you're lying in bed in a hospital?
Plus, just being sick curbs your productivity for your schoolwork, or any other work you may be doing abroad, and prevents you from fully enjoying your time in a different country.
Make sure you ge enough sleep every night. I'm slightly sick right now and I haven't been able to go out at nights with my friends because I haven't been feeling up to it due to this cold and sore throat...
And if you do get sick, make sure you take the appropriate medications and SLEEP! The latter is honestly the only way you can get better...
And tip! if you're planning to travel to Italy: bring or equip yourself with mosquito repellent. When it gets humid here, they become a rampant problem... It's not even that wam yet here, and I already receieved about 7 bites!
yes i do believe in this because if you are fit and fine then can live the world happily and if you are not well then how can you live happily? therefore health is really important and the biggest wealth is your health in order to gain worldy wealth, try to make your health perfect
Yes, I am strongly agree with this term 'Health is wealth' because if you're okay, well, then the world can live happily, and if you are not so well how to live happily? Therefore, health is very important and the greatest wealth is your health, worldly wealth, try to do a complete health.
