CET Chinese Studies & Internship in Beijing

This program is for students who have caught the China bug. CET Chinese Studies students take Chinese language classes in Chinese and Chinese studies courses in English. They get to know their local community in Beijing through internship placements or service-learning projects. Students of all language levels and majors who want to uncover China are welcome to apply. Features: *Service-learning projects at organizations like the Jane Goodall Foundation, the Beijing School for the Deaf, and the Anmin School for migrant children *Internships at local companies and NGOs *Chinese language classes *No language prerequisite *Local roommates *Electives in Chinese history, politics, environmental studies, film and philosophy *Academic excursions to insider sites and events around Beijing Merit-Based
