FIE Dublin: Semester and Summer Internships

FIE Dublin students have the opportunity to intern at a small-to-medium sized Irish company in the vibrant capital city. Take advantage of the “big village feel” unique to Dublin! Live, work, AND play (not necessarily in that order) in Dublin, Ireland, where a treasure trove of internships awaits you. As the modern business landscape is all about globalization, international markets, and benefiting the public good, there’s never been a better time to get a leg up and add some TA-DA! to your resume than by jumpstarting your career with an internship at a small-to-medium
organization.

SEMESTER
You’ll take four to five classes at Dublin Business School (DBS), including FIE’s signature Irish Life and Cultures Course and the International Internship Course (IIC) and intern about two days a week. After you clock off from a hard day’s work, find mighty craic (that’s Irish slang for “fun”) with your new co-workers-turned- lifelong connections. The European professional scene is yours for the taking. Ready to snag an internship in Dublin?

SUMMER
As part of FIE’s signature International Internship Course (IIC) you will work four days per week for eight weeks in a small-tomedium sized Dublin enterprise. The IIC combines classroom seminars with your internship placement, and provides a place to analyze and reflect on your experience. You’ll boost your resume with an international work credential and gain skills in intercultural communication—both necessities in today’s global marketplace.
