IES Internships Rome Summer – Internship

IES Abroad

Rome, with 2,500 years of history, is virtually an outdoor museum and history lesson with streets filled with ancient buildings, statues, and monuments: the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, and the Vatican. The capital city of Italy is home to both multi-national organizations and many smaller, family-owned companies.

An IES Internship develops your professional skills, your ability to communicate across cultures, and provides substantive work experience to jump-start your career in today’s competitive job market. The optional language class increases your Italian language proficiency and fluency. While Italian is not required, some fields may require a basic understanding of the local language. Speak with an IES Internships Advisor to learn more.

You’ll be guaranteed* an unpaid internship placement at a local business or organization, where you’ll work for at least 25 hours a week. We will work with you to help find the closest match between your expressed preferences and professional goals with what’s available via IES Internships in Rome.

Before you go, your internship coordinator will work with you to fine-tune your résumé, perfect your cover letter, and hone your communication and interview skills as we prepare you for working in a new cultural environment.

With IES Internships’ dedicated staff and international connections, you can be sure that you’ll find an internship that meets your goals. You’ll learn, and learn to stand out.
