AIFS Study Abroad in London, England: Internship Program
Richmond’s International Internship Program provides students with vital insight into a career field, experience in the global workplace, practical exposure to the demands of specific jobs and development of professional and personal skills. Internships are available in a wide range of companies and institutions in advertising, art, design, art history, fashion, international business, marketing, media, journalism, politics and government, communications, psychology, theater and more. This unique program allows students to build their résumé while earning 12 credits and enjoying the benefits of the study abroad experience. Volunteer opportunities are also available. Experience “Tico” culture first hand and practice your language skills by living in a local homestay and sharing meals with your host family. Get to know more of Costa Rica with cultural activities including tours and museum visits. Explore vibrant markets, buzzing nightlife, street art and charming neighborhoods as you immerse yourself in beautiful San José. Various cultural and social activities are included, such as walking tours, on-campus clubs, cooking classes, and visits to local museums and markets. Explore the castles and cathedrals, discover landmarks of music and literature, and learn about the fascinating history of Prague and central Europe. AIFS offers two different programs in Prague: the Central and Eastern European Studies Program (CESP) at the University of Economics, as well as the Traditional Academic Program at Charles University.In both locations, there are an Internship Programs available to academic year and semester students, which can be found in various fields of interest such as advertising and PR, sales and social institutions.
