AIFS Study Abroad in London, England: Internship Program
Richmond’s International Internship Program provides students with vital insight into a career field, experience in the global workplace, practical exposure to the demands of specific jobs and development of professional and personal skills. Internships are available in a wide range of companies and institutions in advertising, art, design, art history, fashion, international business, marketing, media, journalism, politics and government, communications, psychology, theater and more. This unique program allows students to build their résumé while earning 12 credits and enjoying the benefits of the study abroad experience. Volunteer opportunities are also available. Earn college credit in South America's largest city, founded in 1554 by Jesuit priests. São Paulo has a unique ethnic diversity, not found anywhere else in the world. The multicultural metropolis is the economic and cultural heart of Brazil with the highest national consumer market and a vibrant fashion and music scene. Depending on the term, students can earn up to 9 or 18 semester credits while living in a homestay or student apartment/house. A meal allowance is provided. Cultural and social activities range from guided tours of the city center, to trips to art museums, and day trips to Juquehy Beach, Santos and Embu Das Artes. Check your desired term for specific program details, as summer programs differ slightly from year and semester programs. Volunteer and internship opportunities are available to academic year and semester students.
Earn up to 16 credits studying at The University of Hyderabad, one of India’s premier institutions of post graduate teaching and research, was established by an act of parliament in 1974 as a Central University, wholly financed by the University Grants Commission. The University’s scenic and serene campus spreads over 2,300 acres, 12 miles from the city of Hyderabad. Amid the scenic environment of the campus, several buildings catering to the academic needs, support facilities and residential requirements of the campus community have been constructed over the years. Since 1998, the University has offered foreign students a special program – the Study in India Program (SIP). This is an interdisciplinary program emphasizing heritage, continuity and change in India. A Community Engagement Program (CEP) is offered, in which students will be placed in a non-Governmental Organization (NGO) and will experience first-hand the role of NGOs in various development initiatives in the local community while also earning college credits!
