AIFS Study Abroad in Suzhou, China: Semester or Academic Year
Spend a semester or academic year in Suzhou with AIFS. Suzhou, China's equivalent of California's Silicon Valley, is a hub of global innovation. No previous Chinese language study is required.
Earn 12 credits studying abroad at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU), the result of an historic partnership between a Chinese and British university combining the very best of east and west to prepare you for the modern world.
This China Studies Program includes courses in business, Chinese language, cultural studies, history, international relations, politics, sociology and theater.
You'll live in a university residence hall with a meal allowance included.
Enjoy cultural and social activities such as an introduction to Chinese painting and calligraphy, a Tai chi show, a tea ceremony, Chinese cooking classes and visits to museums, galleries, Suzhou's famous gardens and more.
Excursions include a day trip to Shanghai, a day trip to Hangzhou and a day trip to Zhou Zhuang Water Town. An optional 3-day Beijing Weekend Excursion is also available.
Earn college credit in South America's largest city, founded in 1554 by Jesuit priests. São Paulo has a unique ethnic diversity, not found anywhere else in the world. The multicultural metropolis is the economic and cultural heart of Brazil with the highest national consumer market and a vibrant fashion and music scene. Depending on the term, students can earn up to 9 or 18 semester credits while living in a homestay or student apartment/house. A meal allowance is provided. Cultural and social activities range from guided tours of the city center, to trips to art museums, and day trips to Juquehy Beach, Santos and Embu Das Artes. Check your desired term for specific program details, as summer programs differ slightly from year and semester programs. Volunteer and internship opportunities are available to academic year and semester students.

Explore the castles and cathedrals, discover landmarks of music and literature, and learn about the fascinating history of Prague and central Europe. AIFS offers two different programs in Prague: the Central and Eastern European Studies Program (CESP) at the University of Economics, as well as the Traditional Academic Program at Charles University.In both locations, there are an Internship Programs available to academic year and semester students, which can be found in various fields of interest such as advertising and PR, sales and social institutions.
