The American College of Thessaloniki (ACT) is the post-secondary division of Anatolia College, an institution with a long and prestigious history that dates back to 1886. ACT is a non-profit educational institution and is accredited by NEASC, the New England Association of Schools and Colleges through its Commission on Institutions of Higher Education. NEASC is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and by the Commission on Higher Education Accreditation. ACT also holds EU program validation and has been granted a license by the Greek government to operate as a private post-secondary educational institution (KEME). ACT's comprehensive undergraduate curriculum leads to Bachelor’s degrees in Business (with 4 Concentrations), Business Computing, International Relations and English (with 2 Concentrations). Moreover, the college offers a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) with concentrations in Banking & Finance, Entrepreneurship, Management and Marketing in the Digital Era.
Throughout its long history, Thessaloniki has been home to many different people and cultures and has certainly much to offer to newcomers in addition to warm hospitality. At the cross-roads of the east and west, ACT is home to a diverse student body, comprised of 50% Greeks and international students from approximately 30 countries as well as a plethora of community outreach opportunities, visiting students find a valuable cultural immersion experience at ACT. At ACT encouraging diversity, open-mindedness, academic freedom, and equal opportunity are important.
