Burgos University Spanish Studies Program

Burgos, two hours north of Madrid, is known as a center of Spanish tradition. Home to one of Europe’s most beautiful Gothic cathedrals, it was also an important way station on the Camino de Santiago, and is famous in literature as the birthplace of El Cid. Burgos retains many of the customs of provincial Spanish life to this day. Because of the Spanish academic calendar, the Burgos program is available only as a spring semester program.
