CET Siena is for Italy-lovers who are ready to make a full year's worth of Italian language progress and to delve deeper into their understanding of Italian culture through electives in history of art, studio art, film, literature and politics. Local roommates or homestays and a faculty-led Traveling Seminar open additional windows to Italian culture. University of Virginia oversees academics, making this program a good fit for serious students of all majors and Italian language levels. This program is open to students from all colleges and universities.

CET New Media in Prague

Seeking a program pushing the boundaries of art? Prefer a small program setting surrounded by a vibrant arts scene? CET New Media students take one-of-a-kind courses at the FAMU Center for Audio Visual Studies (CAS), an art school within a film school. Moving-image works take front stage as students complete a project "beyond cinema" in areas like video installation, conceptual artworks, experimental documentary, and expanded-to-database cinema. This program is open to all majors and is a good fit for independent students wishing to devote a semester to pursuing their own new media project.

CET Jordan: Intensive Language

Want to improve your Arabic fluency by leaps and bounds? CET Jordan provides just the context with rigorous courses in both formal and informal Arabic, language partners, local roommates and a full-time language pledge. Arabic-based content courses and excursions--around Amman and throughout Jordan--add a level of understanding so that by the end of the term students are able to "think in the culture." This program is for serious students with at least 2 semesters of previous Arabic language study.
