There’s also time to explore Hangzhou with friends and practice your Chinese language skills as you explore the spot that Marco Polo called “the finest and most splendid city in the world.”

Ready to expand your Japanese language skills both in class and during free time? The CET Japan program is designed to maximize language improvement and allows students to complete at least a full year of university-level Japanese each term. The flexible curriculum includes options for electives in Japanese or in English. Japanese language learners of all levels and majors are welcome to attend the fall and spring programs. The summer program has a full-time language pledge and is open to students with at least 2 previous semesters of Japanese language.
