Immerse yourself in Florence, the cradle of the Renaissance and a city that has inspired creative minds for centuries. Learn about three focus areas—Italian food, art, and sports—from expert professors. You’ll savor Italian cuisine, appreciate Florentine art and architecture, and watch the World Cup with local buddies. Then you’ll choose one of these topics to explore in depth. Design and develop a group project with classmates based on your area of interest—an experience that will be a valuable in your college application process.

CET Shanghai

Want to use international experience to build an amazing resume? Why not pursue an internship at a company or organization in Shanghai? Students in CET Shanghai get to understand the rewards and challenges of working abroad. They also undertake coursework that provides an academic context for their internship. Life with a Chinese roommate provides the opportunity to engage with Chinese culture outside of the workplace. This program is open to students of all majors and all language levels.

CET Japan

Ready to expand your Japanese language skills both in class and during free time? The CET Japan program is designed to maximize language improvement and allows students to complete at least a full year of university-level Japanese each term. The flexible curriculum includes options for electives in Japanese or in English. Japanese language learners of all levels and majors are welcome to attend the fall and spring programs. The summer program has a full-time language pledge and is open to students with at least 2 previous semesters of Japanese language.
