The basic curriculum is a combination of Portuguese language courses and electives taught in English, but intermediate and advanced students may opt for full immersion by taking direct enroll courses in Portuguese alongside Brazilian peers. Excursions provide insider's access, allowing students to engage with Brazilian society as actors, not spectators. Students of all Portuguese language levels and majors are welcome.

CET New Media in Prague

Seeking a program pushing the boundaries of art? Prefer a small program setting surrounded by a vibrant arts scene? CET New Media students take one-of-a-kind courses at the FAMU Center for Audio Visual Studies (CAS), an art school within a film school. Moving-image works take front stage as students complete a project "beyond cinema" in areas like video installation, conceptual artworks, experimental documentary, and expanded-to-database cinema. This program is open to all majors and is a good fit for independent students wishing to devote a semester to pursuing their own new media project.
