Introduction Latin American Studies: Cordoba, Argentina (High School)
Study Latin America. Speak Spanish. Live with a host family.
Immerse yourself in Córdoba, an old-meets-new city with contemporary resources next to colonial-era monasteries, churches, theaters, and buildings. Rapidly improve your Spanish language skills as you learn about the region’s rich cultural traditions and political and religious identities. Spend the morning in class and then head into the city in the afternoon with classmates to use your Spanish and see all that Córdoba has to offer. You’ll stay with an Argentine family, a perfect way to become part of the local community.
Want to study in one of Italy's most beautiful and cosmopolitan cities in an academically challenging environment? With CET Florence, the city provides inspiration--and field trip destinations--for top-notch classes. Because the program is affiliated with Vanderbilt University, you can be assured of a seamless credit transfer process that will help you stay on track for graduation. CET Florence is open to all majors. The program size is small, so you can be sure your professors will take an individual approach and that you will experience Florence like a local.
Seeking a program pushing the boundaries of art? Prefer a small program setting surrounded by a vibrant arts scene? CET New Media students take one-of-a-kind courses at the FAMU Center for Audio Visual Studies (CAS), an art school within a film school. Moving-image works take front stage as students complete a project "beyond cinema" in areas like video installation, conceptual artworks, experimental documentary, and expanded-to-database cinema. This program is open to all majors and is a good fit for independent students wishing to devote a semester to pursuing their own new media project.
