Diversity Abroad and CISI are proud to award planning scholarships to students of diverse backgrounds at Diversity Network Member institutions. Planning scholarships are an opportunity to provide students with scholarship funds that will help them make the decision to study abroad. The awards, for $1,500 each, will be awarded to students to study abroad in the Fall the following year, and may be used to cover expenses for which financial aid is not readily available such as passports and visas, flights, program deposits, etc. The students do not need to have selected a study abroad program at the time of receiving this scholarship. Eligibility requirements: -Must demonstrate financial need (as demonstrated by your FAFSA) -Must be a freshman, sophomore, or junior at the time of application -Preference given to students who have not studied abroad before -Students of diverse and underrepresented backgrounds encouraged to apply
Apply today for one of two $3,000 scholarships offered each spring towards your study abroad program with FIE. Funds will be applied towards the total program cost for a semester at FIE, which includes tuition and housing, transport pass (London only), weekend excursions (Dublin only) and overall costs. Scholarship funds may only be applied towards FIE programs. For additional information and instructions on how to apply for an FIE program, please visit www.fie.org.uk GPA requirements vary between 2.75 and 3.3 depending on programs. You must be18 years or older at the time of the program start date. Economically disadvantaged students, first-generation, students with disabilities and ethnically and racially diverse students are strongly encouraged to apply.
Diversity Abroad and the University of Dayton China Institute are pleased to announce the continuation of their partnership for study abroad. Apply today to receive one full scholarship or one of four $20,000 awards offered each semester towards your application to study at the China Institute through the University of Dayton. Funds will be applied to the total program cost for a semester at the China Institute, which includes tuition, airfare, Chinese visa costs, housing, meals, program transportation and tours and excursions. Students who are not recipients of a Diversity Abroad & China Institute Scholarship award will still be considered for up to $15,000 in scholarships upon successful completion of a program application. Scholarship funds will only be applied towards application for the University of Dayton China Institute, but please note that this scholarship is not available to students currently enrolled at the University of Dayton or at a partner university of the China Institute. Students will have the opportunity to share their stories, pictures, videos and a program review with the Diversity Abroad community. Students with a GPA below 2.5 may be accepted on a case-by-case basis. For students who are the recipients of a $20,000 Diversity Abroad & China Institute Scholarship award, the total program cost* (including the items listed above) will be $9,910.
