NGO Support, Peru - Intern Abroad HQ

Minimum Duration: 5 weeks
Language Requirement: Intermediate to advanced Spanish
Eligibility Requirement: Undergraduate Degree (or currently enrolled) in communications, languages, international relations or related field. Also suitable for participants with experience/study in organization, business administration, fundraising, sustainable development.

NGO internships are focused on addressing social, economic and health challenges. There are a variety of opportunities available within the field of NGO Support, with opportunity to assist with activities related to coordination, communications, marketing, social media, computer support, fundraising, management, and international relations.

Our internship programs include a guided reflection course, which combines personal development with professional competency building. Interns receive weekly reflection modules to complete during their program - each introduces a new topic, presents learning objectives, and provides specific prompts to inspire the reflective journaling process.

Internships in Peru are available beginning every Monday. Placements are based in Cusco city and the beautiful surrounding valleys. The locations are optimal for combining tourism activities and cultural excursions with a valuable and immersive internship experience.

Minimum Duration: 4 weeksLanguage Requirement: Intermediate to advanced SpanishEligibility Requirement: Qualifications/strong interest in finance, business, development, computer skills or related backgroundMicrofinance provides vital support through the provision of affordable loans and business advice. Interns may assist with advice and education regarding the successful operation of a business, budgeting strategies, IT systems, brainstorming new ideas, promotion and advertising, and helping entrepreneurs to sell their products to buyers.Our internship programs include a guided reflection course, which combines personal development with professional competency building. Interns receive weekly reflection modules to complete during their program - each introduces a new topic, presents learning objectives, and provides specific prompts to inspire the reflective journaling process.Internships in Guatemala are available from the first and third Monday of each month. Placements are based in and around Santa Lucia Milpas Altas, just 15 minutes from Antigua. The locations are optimal for combining tourism activities and cultural excursions with a valuable and immersive internship experience.
