Minimum Duration: 4 weeksLanguage Requirement: Basic SpanishThis program is suitable for people who are outgoing, proactive, and comfortable in an educational setting - be it teachers, assistants or other educational staff. It’s recommended that participants have a knowledge of at least one elementary school subject or English teaching, in order to support local teachers with lessons.Our internship programs include a guided reflection course, which combines personal development with professional competency building. Interns receive weekly reflection modules to complete during their program - each introduces a new topic, presents learning objectives, and provides specific prompts to inspire the reflective journaling process.

Minimum Duration: 4 weeksLanguage Requirement: Intermediate SpanishEligibility Requirement: Suitable for pre-med school students and medical/nursing studentsFor participants with relevant education and experience, this program aims to provide career insight and confidence, while working alongside local professionals. Tasks are related to pre and post-delivery, Doula assistance, postpartum care, and Waltaska (an ancestral technique in Peru that involves newborn care and recovery of the mother).Our internship programs include a guided reflection course, which combines personal development with professional competency building. Interns receive weekly reflection modules to complete during their program - each introduces a new topic, presents learning objectives, and provides specific prompts to inspire the reflective journaling process.Internships in Peru are available beginning every Monday. Placements are based in Cusco city and the beautiful surrounding valleys. The locations are optimal for combining tourism activities and cultural excursions with a valuable and immersive internship experience.
