It’s recommended that participants have a knowledge of at least one elementary school subject or English teaching, in order to support local teachers with lessons.Our internship programs include a guided reflection course, which combines personal development with professional competency building. Interns receive weekly reflection modules to complete during their program - each introduces a new topic, presents learning objectives, and provides specific prompts to inspire the reflective journaling process.

Language Requirement: Intermediate Spanish
Eligibility Requirement: Suitable for students of tourism, international business, hospitality, marketing, communications, graphic design, or a related field

Entry-level placements are based within hostels and hotels. Tasks for interns are related to organization (i.e. tours, social activities), improving marketing and sales plans, reservations, website development and maintenance, SEO, social media activity, relationship building, and assisting with direct sales to clients.
