Minimum Duration: 2 weeksLanguage Requirement: Basic to intermediate SpanishThis program provides experience that translates to a number of careers in education and social work. Participants work to assist at-risk youth in homes or after-school placements, helping with homework, classroom tutoring, arts, and sports, while also creating a positive environment for guidance, understanding and healthy role-modeling.Our internship programs include a guided reflection course, which combines personal development with professional competency building. Interns receive weekly reflection modules to complete during their program - each introduces a new topic, presents learning objectives, and provides specific prompts to inspire the reflective journaling process.Internships in Peru are available beginning every Monday. Placements are based in Cusco city and the beautiful surrounding valleys. The locations are optimal for combining tourism activities and cultural excursions with a valuable and immersive internship experience.

Eligibility Requirement: Suitable for students of tourism, international business, hospitality, marketing, communications, graphic design, or a related field

Entry-level placements are based within hostels and hotels. Tasks for interns are related to organization (i.e. tours, social activities), improving marketing and sales plans, reservations, website development and maintenance, SEO, social media activity, relationship building, and assisting with direct sales to clients.
