Hong Kong Center

With its mixture of Western and Eastern values, culture, and traditions, Hong Kong is an ideal gateway to China and all of Asia. Syracuse University's Hong Kong program offers you the opportunity to study the political economies, business, and cultures of East Asia at a pivotal moment in the region's history. As Hong Kong continues to move forward as a Special Administrative Region (SAR) of the People's Republic of China, students not only study–but also participate within–a political landscape and marketplace that will be as important to the 21st century as the U.S. was to the 20th.
Internships are built into the SU Hong Kong program, with students devoting the final five weeks of their semester abroad to a full-time internship or research project in a field of their choice.

In Andalucia, learn about Spain’s unique history as you visit important sites such as the Great Mosque of Córdoba, the Seville Cathedral, and the Alhambra of Granada. During the session, you will live with a family or in a local residence hall, and experience authentic daily life in Madrid. You’ll also participate in extracurricular activities, such as a visit to a vineyard for a wine tasting, a cooking course, a bullfight, and a hiking excursion, and you’ll get to know young locals.
