Volunteer in Thailand

As one of the largest, most populous, and most ecologically diverse nations in Southeast Asia, Thailand has long been a popular destination for tourists. Visitors are drawn to its friendly people, stunning scenery, and world-renowned cuisine. Beyond the Thailand that most tourists experience, however, there are many social and environmental challenges plaguing the country. World Endeavors volunteers in Thailand can make a meaningful contribution to Thai society through a community-focused volunteer project, all while experiencing immersion in authentic Thai culture.

Intern in Italy

Visitors have flocked to Italy for centuries to experience Italian food, language, art, architecture, and music. Interns who choose Italy as their destination can choose from a wide range of internship fields, from marketing to fashion, information technology to opera. They gain meaningful international work experience in their field, learn to speak Italian, and spend their free time immersing themselves in all that this amazing country has to offer. Interns can expect to work side by side with local colleagues, receive direction from a manager or staff member, and behave just as one would in a real job. On weekends or after work hours, interns engage in a host of activities depending on each participant’s tastes. Interns share meals with new friends or host family members, take in cultural events, explore the city, or even take day or weekend trips outside of the area. World Endeavors provides a list of possible activities in the area and the World Endeavors local coordinator can also function as an ever present guide and ambassador to the area.

Volunteer in Ghana

Ghana is a gem on the coast of West Africa, a country that boasts a vibrant tribal culture, breathtaking natural beauty, a world-class capital city, and a powerful and moving history. Its friendly English-speaking people and its status as a stable, peaceful democracy have given it a reputation as a great destination for first-time visitors to Africa. Nonetheless, Ghana faces many of the challenges other African countries face, including poverty and lack of infrastructure, and many Ghanaians do not have access to adequate healthcare or educational opportunities. Volunteers in Ghana work side by side with local people at schools, orphanages, health clinics, and environmental organizations to help build a stronger future for the Ghanaian people.
