The Diversity Abroad Consortium will offer summer scholarships in the amount of $1,000 for full-time undergraduate (both community college and university level) students attending a member institution. If you would like to see if your school is a Diversity Abroad member please check this website:

Applications will be due on April 6 each year for the summer term.

Additional Information:

Applicants must be full-time undergraduates at a university or community college based in the Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom or the United States. Economically disadvantaged students, African-American/Black, Asian, Hispanic/Latino, Multiracial/ethnic or Indigenous/Native-American, students with disabilities and first generation college undergraduate students are strongly encouraged to apply.

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Attend a Diversity Abroad member institution (visit this page to see if your institution is a member:

• Have minimum cumulative 2.75 GPA or the equivalent at an accredited university or college.

• Participate in a study abroad program for a minimum length of 4 weeks.

• Be willing to share their experiences abroad with the community via articles, student story, and country guide submissions and participate in the community.


Half of the scholarship is paid to student via Paypal prior to departure.

The remaining scholarship is paid to student via Paypal after the program ends and all scholarship requirements are complete.
