Brazil: Social Innovation and Community Development

This program looks at socioeconomic conditions and the impact of local development efforts and public policy on lives and livelihoods in northeastern Brazil. You will interact with different ethnic groups, including indigenous and Afro-Brazilian populations, to gain insight into the challenges and benefits of implementing social change within a multicultural environment. This year, SIT will award over $1.5 million in scholarships and grants.
