Social Entrepreneurship: Innovation, Technology, Design, and Social Change

In this program, you will examine how various forms of entrepreneurship are being employed to address some of the most pressing social challenges of today. The program offers a comparative study in four contrasting locations around the world, incorporating case studies and onsite meetings with social entrepreneurs, activists, and local individuals seeking change. Learn to listen, observe, and engage in collaborative analysis and work with social entrepreneurs in the field to translate your research into practical applications. Field studies will include meetings with small businesses, NGOs, international banks, philanthropists, and local microfinance providers. Please visit our website for more information. This year, SIT will award over $1.5 million in scholarships and grants.
