AIFS in Paris offers a unique academic program at Institut de Langue et de Culture Françaises (ILCF), a well-known and highly respected department of the Catholic University of Paris. This institute offers outstanding courses for students interested in French language, culture and civilization to live and study in Paris. The January term program (winter) offers an art history course, Paris: World Capital of Arts and Architecture, taught in English. Throughout the year, students may choose from courses in a wide array of subjects and dynamic French language offerings. Enjoy cultural and social activities such as guided city walks, visits to the many museums and cultural sites of Paris, French cooking classes, opera and ballet performances, day trips to Monet’s Garden in Giverny and the famous Château of Versailles. Depending on the program term, optional excursions may include a 2-day trip to Normandy and Brittany, a 2-day trip to the Loire Valley and an optional excursion to the Champagne region of France.

Over 50% of our study abroad participants receive financial support from AIFS in the form of scholarships or grants.
