The birthplace of Mozart, Salzburg is an elegant city that holds UNESCO World Heritage status for its unique character and architecture. Located north of the Alps, Salzburg’s lush meadows, lakes and mountains call you outdoors and inspire you to explore the charm of the peaceful city. Immerse yourself in Austrian culture through activities such as guided city tours, a Mozart dinner concert, horse-drawn sleigh rides, visits to the Austrian Christmas market and tours of Werfen Castle and Hellbrunn Palace. Both semester and summer programs include a 3-day excursion to Vienna.
Over 50% of students receive financial assistance from AIFS in the form of grants or scholarships.
