AIFS Study Abroad in the Galapagos Islands, Ecuador
This Galápagos program gives students the opportunity to earn 3 credits studying an environmental science course in one of the most pristine natural laboratories in the world. Stay with local families on San Cristóbal Island and in hotels in Quito and Santa Cruz Island. Based at the Universidad San Francisco de Quito (USFQ) extension campus on the island of San Cristóbal and taught by USFQ faculty, you will study major ecosystems of the islands and experience them firsthand on academic field excursions to designated visitor sites. These locations include some of the world's most beautiful beaches as well as species of flora and fauna that exist nowhere else on earth. Over 50% of our study abroad participants receive financial support from AIFS in the form of scholarships or grants.
