Why did you decide to study abroad?

I decided to complete college my studies abroad in Chile because the university has twelve academic areas including business administration, I took marketing courses and was convalidated me. The world we live in is full of opportunities and we need to broaden our horizons and learn about other cultures in order to seize these opportunities. 

How did you pay for your study abroad experience?

I received 3 Fellowships:

Diversity Abroad Scholarship
Gilman Scholarship
Puerto Rico Young at Risk

Did you experience any discrimination abroad because of your race, sex, religion, sexual orientation or a physical disability? If so, what did you learn from the experience?

No, never. On the contrary, people in Chile like my skin color.

How has studying abroad benefited you, personally and academically?

Travel to Chile bring to develop in me a leader, and be leader is to be lunging towards new challenges. 

What was the most memorable moment of studying abroad?

Knowing the snow, was so special for me. I had never felt so cold and seen everything white around me.

How was the entertainment and nightlife?

Salsa Clubs, Cinema, Dinner with friends. 

In what way do you feel your experience abroad has prepared you for your future career? (Think both tangible things like language acquisition and intangible like learning to work with people who are very different from you)

Learning to work with different people. Be independent, and believe ever in myself.
