Why did you decide to study abroad?
I decided to go abroad because I love traveling, meeting new people, and studying languages!
How did you pay for your study abroad experience?
I got a scholarship from Diversity Abroad -- the one for Hebrew University (Rothberg International) summer programs. It was perfect!
What is one thing you wish you would have known about studying abroad before you left?
I wish I had laid all expectations at the door before embarking on my journey abroad.
Did you experience any discrimination abroad because of your race, sex, religion, sexual orientation or a physical disability? If so, what did you learn from the experience?
I identify primarily as a follower of Jesus Christ.
How has studying abroad benefited you, personally and academically?
During my time abroad, I studies Biblical Hebrew and am able to read the Hebrew Bible in its original language. Granted, I don't understand everything (yet), but my time abroad has grown me much interpersonally and cross-culturally as well.
