CAPA London: Editing and Digital Media

Explore the constantly evolving world of digital media, learn editing theory, and put your knowledge into practice using London as your classroom in this hands-on, intensive summer study abroad program.

In collaboration with the University of Pittsburgh, you’ll be able to choose between two classes or one class plus participation in an internship placement. You’ll experience a culturally rich summer abroad accented by of high-level academic expertise and an opportunity to work on your portfolio using the world-class production capabilities of the Derek Jarman Lab, located on-site at the CAPA London Center.

You’ll become extremely proficient in editing using Adobe Premiere Pro, as well as learn techniques in VR, podcasting, and other digital media outputs. You’ll examine how the moving images we are surrounded by today are edited, as well as how still and moving images not only serve as entertainment but also inform the way we communicate, learn about the world, purchase goods, and express our identities. Earn 6 credits.
