IES Abroad Dublin Summer – Intensive Acting

Over the course of the summer, you will come to know Dublin’s winding streets and unique charm through a variety of culturally enriching opportunities. Take advantage of the all that Dublin’s theatrical community has to offer including the country’s national theatre, Abbey Theatre.

Designed for theatre students seeking an intensive, practical approach to performance, this is an immersive, conservatory-style acting program. All courses are taught in partnership with the The National Theatre School of Ireland (Gaiety School of Acting) and the IES Abroad Center for a total of 6 credits.

A core value espoused by NTSI (GSA) is ensemble. This program is physically and emotionally demanding, and students participate fully in all aspects of the training process. At the end of the program, students participate in a show case where they present a selection of ensemble scenes rehearsed throughout the summer.
