USAC Italy: Verona (Semester/Yearlong, Summer) - International Business, Tourism, and Italian Studies

University Studies Abroad Consortium (USAC)

Verona is a medium-sized city with a larger-than-life history located near Venice, Milan, Lake Garda and the borders of Switzerland, Austria, and Slovenia. The Arena, a magnificent ancient amphitheater built by the Romans in the first century, is the heart of the city and is still in active use today, hosting concerts, operas, and theatre performances. You will love walking along the beautiful Adige River to go to school, surrounded by the romantic colors of the autumn during fall and the lively blooms during spring. During winter it is a must for students to go skiing in one of the many ski resorts in the Dolomite Mountains, easily reachable by bus or by train. The city has public buses, an airport and two train stations to make travelling easy. The first six weeks of the semester will help you acclimate by offering an intensive Italian language course. Verona will steal your heart!
