Spend a semester, academic year, summer or January term studying abroad in Berlin, Germany! AIFS offers semester and academic year programs at Freie Universität. Summer and January term programs are available at Humboldt University. An internship program is available at Freie Universität during the summer. You’ll earn up to 15 credits depending on program selection.
Berlin, with its cultural and cosmopolitan kaleidoscope, provides a vibrant background for studying abroad. Few European cities have undergone such continual redefinition and change. Berlin’s restored identity as the nation’s capital has been the driving force in both design and cultural diversity.
Immerse yourself in the culture of Berlin through activities such as guided city tours, visits to museums and historical sites, boat trips, German cooking classes and a day trip to Potsdam.
Over 50% of students receive financial assistance from AIFS in the form of grants or scholarships.
