IES Abroad London – Study London

IES Abroad

An urban adventure awaits you in London, one of the largest and most fascinating cities in Europe that almost nine million people call home. Our program offers you hands-on education in this iconic city—think: the Shard, Buckingham Palace, and Camden Market.

The goal of our program is to help you explore contemporary London and gain a deeper knowledge of British culture, including the central importance of history to the British. Explore the global impact of Britain on Western culture, including art, literature, and financial and political systems.

Choose from dozens of IES Abroad courses taught by expert local faculty at our Center. You can also focus your creative energy into the production of an original work in one of our unique creative arts workshops.

Expand your study abroad experience with a course at a prestigious local university, a parttime internship, or a service learning placement. Our partner universities City, University of London and Queen Mary, University of London, offer you hundreds of course options to choose from and the chance to meet local British and international students.

A part-time internship or service learning placement grants you first-hand experience of British business, culture, and society at no additional cost. We can talk to you about the type of placement you’d like before you depart, and then work to match you with a business or organization in London.
